Chris Rychter has designed book covers for most major publishers in Poland. Having worked in both trade and academic publishing, he has the ability to develop suitable designs for every type of book.
Chris Rychter graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Poland and Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts, London, United Kingdom.
His cover design career began in London, with freelance and full-time work for academic and trade publishers; in 2008 he moved to Warsaw, where he consecutively became Creative Director for the two largest publishers in Poland with hundreds of books published every year. He has worked on covers of books written by the biggest names in Polish and international publishing, such as: Elizabeth Strout, David Foster Wallace, Irvine Welsh, Doris Lessing, Peter Carey, Ryszard Kapuściński, Janusz L. Wiśniewski, Zygmunt Miłoszewski and many others.
