One of my first graduate projects, commissioned by the History of Art Institute at the Warsaw University. I was responsible for the design, artworking and production of this issue, and had complete freedom over the layout I chose. The periodical deals with contemporary art and every issue is designed by a different artist, very often making the reading very difficult due to using very ‘original’ concepts. My idea was to use a classic two-column layout, using a classic typeface and a strict grid, thus juxtaposing content and appearance. This issue was highly praised for its clear and accessible information layout.
